Vue render – made a couple of years ago but I still remember what a struggle it was to render it to any decent size. Finally learned to remove unneeded polygons ruthlessly, and to really cut down on the subsurface scattering…

Lawrence of Arabia
Quite a lot of work in Poser to get the pose and outfit going (I simply don’t have a robe that works, so he’s stuck with a cape … ). And then a LOT of work in Vue 6 Esprit to get the materials looking good again … And finally a bit of Painter magic… Continue reading Lawrence of Arabia
First Girl
I downloaded The Girl 4 yesterday and rendered this just to see if I could get existing clothes to fit her … the dress is Poserworld’s Angelic Dress for A4, and with a little help from Morphing Clothes, it fit The Girl 4 very nicely indeed.
Ted
Was just playing with DAZ|Studio …

The cool thing about a camera that can zoom 15x optically (Sony H50), is that you can take photos of critters that otherwise would be flying away at your approach …
Bats are nocturnal
An older pic … posed in Poser, rendered with Vue and painted with Painter X – this is one panel of a one-page comic strip that I made once. It’s not really batman, the costume is all wrong, but ah well, it was fun to do. 🙂
Misty
I know I shouldn’t take photos directly into the sun … but you know what? I don’t care. 🙂
Verdant Pathway
A mossy pathway through the Lowveld Botanical Gardens, Nelspruit, South Africa. Photo taken Sunday March 15th 2009.
Churning
The Crocodile river having a grand time at the falls in the Lowveld Botanical Gardens. Photo taken March 15th. It’s a good time to visit, the rivers are flowing, the bush is green (except at our place, where it hasn’t rained much at all) and the weather is lovely.
